CES 2019: The best Laptops you’ll see in 2019

This might be a bit of a late post but its seemingly necessary so writing it shouldn’t be disregarded. I should also apologize for the fact that I’ve been inactive for a while as a result of my education and other factors. I am back fully!

The CES conference :

CES is the world’s gathering place for all those who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. It has served as the proving ground for innovators and breakthrough technologies for 50 years — the global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace.

Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it attracts the world’s business leaders and pioneering thinkers

This year it was held from the 8th to 11th of January and from what they brought this year it’s obvious “They didn’t come to play”. So here’s what I did, I picked my 6 best laptops and here they are,

ASUS ROG Mothership (G2700)

Yeah so this is a beast, packs an 8th gen core i9 processor, Nvidia RTX 2080 as a Graphics processor and exactly 64GB of RAM. Actually from the picture above its kinda hard to decipher  – Is this a laptop? Is this a desktop? What the hell…Well, guess what, I’m as confused as you are! The ROG Mothership is kinda a detachable PC I’ll say, Its keyboard is removable and Its a weird kind of laptop.

Alienware Area-51m

Its packs super performance too and a good graphics card just like the ROG Motherboard for a lesser weight and a 9th Generation core processor although as you can see the design is not as classy as that of the ASUS ROG Mothership but if you take a closer look you’ll see some glowing edges, The glowing lights, unlike the regular Alienware has been reduced. Now it only glows on the Alienware logo and a few edges.

ASUS ZenBook S13

Well, we’ve seen two of the rugged-looking laptop species, why don’t we check out some of the most beautiful and sleekest designs the eyes have seen in a laptop. The ASUS ZenBook s13 is totally revolutionary, it’s the best of its kind. Its bezels are the thinnest the CES has ever encountered. Look closely at the image, you’ll notice an extension in the bezels so the webcam can fit in the screen. Fun fact, this laptop doesn’t miss out on the fast performance as it comes also in an 8th Gen Core i7 processor and an Nvidia MX150 for some little gaming. Cool huh?

I would also be posting the basics of computer systems, as I do understand that a few readers might find some terms in this post confusing e.g GPU, RAM, SSD etcetera. Those would be explained in the next post!
